Clinician, Mental Health Initiatives

Merih graduated from the University of Washington in 2018 with a Master’s in Social Work.

After graduation, he has been working as a behavioral health therapist in community mental health agencies and outpatient clinics in Seattle. Merih plans to pursue his doctoral program with a focus on addressing behavioral health issues of the underserved population in general and refugee and immigrant communities specifically through community participatory research and training. He’s been actively working to engage those communities as a clinician and draws from his migration experiences to help community members.
