Sayed Mohammad Faqiri is originally from Afghanistan. He holds a Master’s in Sociology from Osmania University, India, and a Bachelor’s in Education from Herat University, Afghanistan.
Sayed’s education and life experiences have shaped his ability to address complex challengeswith innovative and culturally informed solutions.
Before joining NAAPR, Sayed was a Program Officer for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in Washington, where he facilitated behavioral health programs, supported families, and maintained partnerships with external agencies. Additionally, as a volunteer Cultural Liaison, Sayed has helped newly arrived Afghans navigate resettlement challenges by providing culturally sensitive services.
